Hi Helen, becasue there are lot of information thus I just provide a clear content may help you to looking for information. On the other hand, becasue it can not apply more than one texture in one time on the model import from google sketch up to UT, thus I analys the modle in diffrent components to apply the different texture. In "Googlesketchup version counstruction detail model" I collected all working process of EXP3 model, and make them organised and lable the name/detail of each pices of model components. Becasue the model is import from Googlesketchup to UT, thus becaseue the systern problen the texture and lighting dosen't work well in UT model(some floor can not be lightup, the white colour to bright...), in order to help understand this model I also provide the 'Googlesketchup version final model", that may help you more easy to understand the model, and the "Googlesketchup version counstruction detail model" got every detail of model you want to know.

Final Presentation-below space for Versace's office

Below space for Versace's office
For Versace's office I try to work on power of elevated to express Versace's power in field of fashion design. Thus the ground floor has been left up and interior has two more floors, it is different compare to upper-Steve office (which only has one floor and expand horizantally to explain the power of expand), the Office space for Versace express the power in vertically and organic forms. Each layer of office has different organic forms, try to reinforce the sence of fashion design and clothe. For interior fuction, Versace's offices consist with three different floors exhibition area instead of modular offices spaces which I design for Steve Jobs offices. Another word, this space is the show room or exhibition center for Versace to hold the business campaigns and parties, thus the interior space not only design with large opering area but also has unblock view with exterior.

the elevator has two different level which reflect the idear of elevated, and the organic shape try to express the feeling of clothe

Middle Space


The middle space consisted with three different parts: trasition space1-space betwwen upper Steves' office and meeting space; meeting space; trasition space2-space between below Versace's office and meeting space.

This space is the extend part of upper office in both phsical construction and style, allow the elevator ramp build on it.

The meeting space is desing try to combine two power, thus you can see the space is consisted with two diffferent shape:one attach to upper space's power with more retangular; the other attach to below space power which more organic curve. Also each of constructions follow the texture belong to it origanal spaces which in upper and lower space. In addition the dinning table is also located in here.

Interior view of meeting space: different materials apply to diifernt structure, on retangular shape with white colour; the other curve shape with metal to differ the idea of power for each space

3:transition space2-space between below Versace's office and meeting space

Just like trasition space1, this space also extend the power influnce from blow Versace's office to meeting space. However here consisted with the most dificult and chanlenge work of EXP3 even it just a small space, that is the entrance ramp connecting to Versace's office. It has total five different dimentions organical curve faces(every faces moves in differnet dimentions: from exterior/interiorsurface of ceiling wall and even floor). It is my the most satisfide work in EXP3, that is the best expression in my model to express the idear of power to Versace: elevated(left up, organic curve and the feeling of cloth which stylelish and soft)

The X-Ray of entrance ramp with connecting to Versace space, you can see the every dimentions of curve move, even the floor that elevated up while walk into Versace's office to reinforced the power of elevated for Versace's offices.

Steve Jobs' Office

This space I designed to reflect the power of expand, the office for Steve is at the head of brige and crew's space expand from side of brige, moreover follow by ramp of entrance and common room to rienforce the idear of power. In interior I try to buil up the feeling of endless to express the other form of expand which difffernt to exterior.
